Electrical Design Engineer

What Are We Looking For?

 

Our in-house design team is looking to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer to join the team working out of the office in Glenrothes, Fife. Through continued project wins and sustained growth, we are delighted to welcome applications from candidates looking to join a market-leading organisation to service a variety of sectors across the UK. You’ll be working with an established team to assist in our continued successful delivery of projects across the region for our clients.

 

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

 

  • Design of control panel and associated systems for a variety of projects and industries.
  • Create electrical schematics for control systems that will be fabricated on-site and create further designs for the installation of these systems.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, throughout project lifecycles.
  • Provide support for Engineers involved in site installation to ensure project delivery.
  • Carry out feasibility studies for new technical innovations.
  • Use appropriate systems and programmes, including E-Plan, AutoCAD, Sharepoint & other MS Packages as needed.

 

What Do You Need?

 

  • Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Competent in E Plan and AutoCAD packages
  • Good knowledge of H&S procedures and systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven track record as an Electrical Engineer in either a design office or construction market
